The First Passover from the Book of Exodus, Jesus Christ as the Second Passover Lamb, and the Second Death Awaiting All Unbelievers Today

The First Passover from the Book of Exodus, Jesus Christ as the Second Passover Lamb, and the Second Death Awaiting All Unbelievers Today

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opened the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.
5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
10 Thou shalt, therefore, keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
11 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
12 That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord’s.
13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.
17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straightly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
Exodus 13: 1-22

I began this article by putting together two scriptural passages; one of them is the greatest of them all from the New Testament.  The second one is from the Old Testament book of Exodus which narrates in part the First Passover that preceded the Hebrews’ departure from slavery in Egypt.
Many of us believers in God who are Gentiles perceive the First Passover as a strictly Jewish event that cannot possibly concern us at all.
Many of us believers in God, those who are of the Jewish faith and who do not recognize Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, as the Promised Messiah, do not identify with the verse regarding Life Everlasting as a gift for only those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior.
At first look, there appears that no possible connection ties these two passages together except that both come from the Bible.
And yet together they very much belong, and the remainder of this article is written to show how and why they belong very much together.
The factor, the What, that does drive these two passages from the Word together struck me and led me to tie them in together came to me a little while ago, this very afternoon.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

To tie everything together, in order to make everything so far presented understandable, it is important to answer: Why is Jesus Christ called the Lamb?  In what way is Jesus Christ the second Passover Lamb?
“The sacrifice of lambs played a very important role in the Jewish religious life and sacrificial system. When John the Baptist referred to Jesus as the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29), the Jews who heard him might have immediately thought of any one of several important sacrifices. With the time of the Passover feast being very near, the first thought might be the sacrifice of the Passover lamb. The Passover feast was one of the main Jewish holidays and a celebration in remembrance of God’s deliverance of the Israelites from bondage in Egypt. In fact, the slaying of the Passover lamb and the applying of the blood to doorposts of the houses (Exodus 12:11-13) is a beautiful picture of Christ’s atoning work on the cross. Those for whom He died are covered by His blood, protecting us from the angel of (spiritual) death.” 1

1 “What Does It Mean That Jesus Is The Lamb Of God?”. 2018. Gotquestions.Org. Accessed December 16,2018. https://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-Lamb-of-God.html.

It is said that those who are born twice (once physically and once spiritually) will suffer just one death, while those who are born but once (physically) suffer two deaths. We all have a choice—salvation in Jesus, or our own will which is in rebellion to God. Scripture tells of a time of judgment in which those who reject Jesus will suffer and those who accept Him will spend eternity with Him. This is a warning for some, and an encouragement for others to share their faith. 2

2 “What Is The Second Death The Bible Talks About?”. 2018. Compellingtruth.Org. Accessed December 16, 2018. https://www.compellingtruth.org/second-death.html.

The Ancient Egyptian kingdom were the ancient Hebrews were held as slaves then refers to the world at large, the world of unbeliever. Since they did not partake of the Passover, since their homes were not painted with the blood of lambs, the angel of death struck there, at their homes, and their firstborn were taken from them.
The angel of death who during the Passover killed the firstborn of the Egyptians today represents the Second Death, he represents the perishing  into the Lake of Fire forever, of all those who today and since Christ died on the cross have not accepted Jesus Christ, they lack the presence of Jesus Christ’s precious blood upon them.
If they repent while they’re still living, then they will also acquire the presence of Christ’s precious blood upon them.  Once they acquire it, the angel of Death will skip over them as well.
There will be no Second Death for any of those who today accepts Jesus Christ as his or her own Personal Savior.  It will be as if, back then, during the Exodus era, some Egyptian had joined the Hebrews and spent the Passover with them in faith.
If that Egyptian had been the firstborn son of some Egyptian family, even though that Egyptian had descended from the bloodline of a heathen Egyptian family, because that Egyptian shared the faith of the Hebrews, and was with them when the Angel of Death passed by, he too would be spared and not taken.
That hypothetical spared Egyptian back then is equivalent to the sinner of today who repents and accepts Jesus Christ as personal savior. Then Jesus would take all of his or her sins away and impute upon him or her, the righteousness of God.  Jesus at that moment claims that former sinner as His own and God’s own adopted son or daughter.
Thus, by now, you can probably tell that Jesus Christ becoming the accepted personal Savior of all sinners today is the equivalent of that poor lamb back during the time of Moses and Exodus that was sacrificed and which blood was smeared on posts and doors of Hebrew homes that death would skip over them and move on.
I did accept Jesus Christ as my savior.  I recognize that without Him and His sacrifice for me, I’d be lost, I’d perish and perish forever. The eternal separation from God, the Second Death, would claim me too.  There would be no hope for me at all ever if I died in my sins, without having grabbed onto the olive branch that God offered me in the form of being saved by Jesus Christ. That’s the only hope there is.
Grab it while you’re still alive, while there’s still enough time for you too.

Post from the Heart

Today was, what should have been one of the most dreadful days of my recent life. I took my sister to the dermatologist to have a skin tissue removed from her face. When she got up from the waiting room chair she was sitting on, upon being called in, she fell and broke her hip on the floor.

An ambulance had to be summoned and she was taken to the hospital ER. Now she faces surgery tomorrow and later on, a few weeks in a rehab therapy facility.

Lately, I had been in a depressional funk over life not having turned out okay for me. Motivation almost nonexistent, health more or less so-so, finances a joke, but faith in God good. And that spelled the difference that led me to the eureka moment of a lifetime.

I'm sharing it with you now because of what I think can spell the difference for you all between suicide and a life worth being grateful for.

It's this: I remember that Jesus Christ exhorted us all to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, the righteousness of God. Then all the other things we need would be added.

Too many of us regular people concentrate our hearts on the part of all other things will be added.

Too few of us who focus on the language alone relate to the Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness. And I'm part of the majority that just didn't relate to that earlier part of the exhortation. We didn't see that this part of the exhortation applied to us directly. We saw it in a religious sense, a tit for tat, a tradeoff. We saw it as bribing God by sacrificially seeking His Kingdom and His Righteousness. And then sit and wait for the other things we need to be added to our lives.

Again, I plead guilty. Yes, I saved.

But then I did it because the idea of going to Hell scares me horribly. It's an eternity that I'm not at all prepared for, neither are you, neither is anyone else. And we shouldn't be. God didn't create us to go there.

But I digress. Let me now spell out the Eureka moment.

What if Jesus meant, by our seeking the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness -- that in the seeking of that - there awaits us a big reward in and of itself?

How can that be?

Here's what happened with me that clicked me into a different way of seeing it.

For most of my life, I've been rather dissatisfied with my life; I've grumbled that being in the world, being thrust into life is something that I never signed up for, that there's really nothing in life but a process of just coping with it and waiting to die.

That's a lousy perspective, and it's also ungrateful.

What if the Life that I've been grumbling about, bitching about, is actually Not the Life, is not the Life God ever intended for me?

Let's say that if I'm supposed to have joy despite all things if I'm supposed to be of good cheer, that if I'm not to let my heart be troubled, then I'm living a life that -
Is Not - God's intended, willed, life for me to live.

And in seeking God's Kingdom and His Righteousness, what is called for - is for me and you and each and all persons - to trade in the lives we've lived, the process of living we've lived that God never intended for us - and after surrendering our lives to the Lord Jesus, we'll get the Kingdom of God and God's Righteousness in the form of a whole package deal of a life that He's always had for us and has wanted us to live all along.
And in giving up our lives in exchange for this Life that God has for us- we get the rewarding life, God's intended Life for us, based on His holiness, His Peace, His Joy, His Love, and His Rest.

That's what I think that Jesus Christ meant when He told to Seek First God's Kingdom and His Righteousness - to Seek to enter into this God-intended Life for you, for me, for each and all of us people. That's what's in the Bible when we're exhorted to not conform to the world and the things of the world.

The world offers a life that's very inferior in quality to the glorious life that God custom-designed for each of us. Let us renounce these crappy lives, give them up, trade them in for the real life, the Life that God Has custom-designed for each of us.

That's where we find in itself the reward of Seeking First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and then, coming in, a distant second in priority, are all the other things that are to be added.

When someone is living an unsatisfactory life, and he or she says to himself or herself, "There's got to be a better way. There's got to be more than this" that person is right on the money, right on target. There is a better way to lead a life, there is far more than the life lived thus far. It's just that we have to set aside our prides, our egos, our earthly priorities and see that the whole package of a life, the whole thing that has to be more than this, that has to be a better way - is just that - the Life that God always intended for that person, for you, for me.

I'm going to leave you all now to think for yourselves and understand fully well, that God's thoughts for you are for good, not evil - and the live He's always wanted for you is far better than the one you've been living up until now.

Atheism -- Why the Darwinian Theory of Evolution is a Satanic Filthy Trick

Atheism -- Why the Darwinian Theory of Evolution is a Satanic Filthy Trick

Atheists are likely to believe that they, as human beings, were not created by God from the get-go, but rather evolved from lower animal forms.

I believe the Devil, Satan, formerly Lucifer (God's created and chosen Bearer of Light) set them up for this horrific fall and he's seeking to lure countless more people to lose their eternal souls with this lie.

Let's create here a chain of explanations in order to help you understand the sort of lion's mouth you have your head inside of if you've already bought into this evolution hoax.

18
Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one, the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19
For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Romans 5:18-19 King James Version (KJV)

If you believe that you evolved from lower life forms, then no part of the scriptures above cited apply. Animals come to the earth, they live for a time on the earth, and then they just die. They go to neither heaven nor to hell. If you're just the latest evolutionary step in the evolution of some lower animal, then there's need to even think about righteousness. There's nothing to obey nor disobey. Nothing of the scriptures apply to you or to anyone. There's no need to save you from anything. That's what you believe when you believe in Darwin's theory of evolution.

Now let's say you're just somewhat curious about the scripture. Why do I insist on sharing the scriptures with you?

Let's talk about Satan for a little bit, the devil. Why do I say that the whole theory of evolution is a Satanic dirty trick?

I maintain that you are human, that you were created by God in his image and likeness, you're by default a mortal enemy of Satan. I say that God created all humankind, all Mankind, from the very start as human beings.

What motivates Satan to hate your guts so much that he wants to devour your soul that he's gone through all this trouble to deceive you all?

Let's go to the time before he, Lucifer was still God's archangel, before he became Satan.

Isaiah 14:12-23 King James Version (KJV)

12 How art thou fell from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.

Isaiah 14:12-23 King James Version (KJV)

It's true that in Isaiah, Lucifer is compared to the King of Babylon and in one of the verses, he's addressed as a man and not as a ghost spirit. However, the Isaiah account is incomplete. There's more below.

“‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite, and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.”

Ezekiel 28:13-15

Hell, To. 2018. "To Reign In Hell". Beliefnet.Com. Accessed June 13, 2018. http://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/christianity/to-reign-in-hell.aspx.

If you combine the passages about Lucifer from both Isaiah and this one, Ezekiel 28:13-15, you'd realize that Lucifer, before he became Satan, was in an exalted state but then lost it for seeking to be rise, to ascend, and be like the Most High God. Everything that Lucifer already had before he sought to rise to God's level was insufficient for him.

So it is from these fragments that we piece the story of Lucifer. It was pride that struck him down. This most beautiful of all God’s creations tried to take the throne in heaven, tried to rule creation in God’s stead. We can speculate on what happened—jealousy over man’s place in creation, a theological dispute, or simple hubris

Now let's see what was God's Perfect Will regarding Man:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

"Genesis 1:26 Then God Said, "Let Us Make Man In Our Image, After Our Likeness, To Rule Over The Fish Of The Sea And The Birds Of The Air And The Livestock, And Over All The Earth Itself And Every Of Creature That Crawls Upon It."". 2018. Biblehub.Com. Accessed June 13, 2018. http://biblehub.com/genesis/1-26.htm.

So we have God's most perfect creation, Lucifer the archangel cast out of Heaven for seeking to be like God and God casts him out of Heaven.

The the same God who cast Lucifer out of his Kingdom in Heaven then creates man in his own image and likeness. He gave from the get-go to man that which He denied to Lucifer.

Now do you understand why Satan hates your guts as he does?

Do you think he wants you to take advantage of the only thing that can restore you from being born cursed, rejected, separated from God?

Hell, no. He wants to lull you into a safe sense of security that you're fine.

It's only after you die and find yourself in Hell after it's too late to save you, that Satan no longer cares if you find out the truth.

Friend, you have a decision to make. You've got to decide who you'll believe: Darwin for Evolution or the writers of the Bible.

What does eliminating God's place in the world mean for education?

What does eliminating God's place in the world mean
for education? Chuck Colson, in his Breakpoint radio
commentaries, said:

It means schools should not train children in any particular
character traits, like courage or honesty. Instead, schools
should maximize a child's ability to choose for himself, after
critical consideration of competing alternatives.

This explains modern sex education, for example, where
students are not taught to restrain their sexual impulses until
marriage. Instead, they're taught a wide range of sexual practices,
with the message that "Only you can judge what's right
for you." [The DARE anti-drug program uses much the same
approach.]

Colson pointed up the contradictions in such school
teachings based on the concept that there are no absolute
truths based on God's law. He said:
Ironically, if you walk down the hall to the science classroom,
you'll find educators employing the opposite method. There
they have no qualms about teaching that there is one and only
one right way to think—namely, to embrace Darwinism.

Evolution is not open to question, nor are students invited to
judge for themselves whether it is true or not.
Colson asks, "Why such a sharp discrepancy in teaching
styles?" The answer he said is...

...that science is taught in absolute terms because it is regarded
as giving the truth about what "really exists." And what "really
exists" is nature alone. There is no God. Naturalism in science
then becomes the basis for liberalism in morality: If there is
no God, then kids should be taught to make up their own minds
about moral questions. Is it any surprise that some of them
are becoming battlegrounds.

Colson concluded:

If God is kicked out of science courses, eventually His commandments
will be taken off classroom walls—and out of
students' hearts.

Those are thoughts a nation troubled by recurring
in-school murders of students and teachers by other
students must face. The nation also needs to know of
Colson's encounter with a newspaper editor who
boasted of his efforts to remove the Ten Commandments
from the walls of local classrooms. The editor
was proud of his success in promoting a more "liberal"
education.

Yet, moments later, Colson said...

...he was bemoaning crime in the schools—the epidemic of
cheating and fighting. "Perhaps," I suggested, "you ought to
put a sign on the wall...telling kids not to steal." The editor
stared at me and then turned away without uttering a word.
For, of course, he had worked hard to remove just such a
sign—one that said "Thou shalt not steal"—along with the rest
of the Ten Commandments.

Colson added:

What this editor failed to see is that the liberal approach to
education is closely linked to increased crime and disorder.

Now I Understand Why God Insists on Faith in order to be Pleased with You and Me

The Eureka moment came to me a few seconds ago while browsing the internet and it's so important that I spread this insight right away before I put it off - that I rushed to this blog I keep to share it with you.

Here goes.

I saw an email from a Christian site called Rhetorical Jesus. Today's subject line was "What if I asked you to talk to an atheist? Would you do it?"

It occurred to me that, being a Christian, talking to an atheist about faith is almost the same as walking barefoot across a floor full of broken glass shards or going to the dentist to have a molar pulled out. It's something we Christians hate doing, like if it's like swimming against an oncoming tide.

It then occurred to me; how would I explain to this atheist how faith works?

It then occurred to me, and I have a strong belief that this insight had to have come from the Holy Spirit Himself. No one else could have given me information this precious.

We Christians, no matter how saved we are, we too struggle with unbelief from time to time. We get hit with temptations to not believe, definitely to walk by sight and not by faith. Even pastors get hit with such temptations. They're horrible.

So in talking to an atheist, the most important thing, this is what I thought as I pondered on the way of the what, the why of the insight of this gift from the Holy Spirit to me.

It's this: When you're talking to an atheist or an agnostic, you're dealing with someone who's having a challenging difficulty, an almost irresistible urge to disbelieve everything you're discussing with him or her. And I mention this because to an atheist, you have the natural aptitude to believe in the existence of God. The atheist cannot believe that to a Christian believer, coming to believe in Jesus Christ, it's a struggle to keep staying in faith. The atheist, I used to be one myself about twenty or so years ago, believes you're either born with the ability to believe in God or you don't in a manner of whether you're born with the ability to sing or draw or whatever comes naturally.

To the atheist, that all are called to believe and be saved - is something that is too good to be true for him or her.

The atheist has the belief, once bitten twice shy.

I've been bitten by that dog before so don't waste your time trying to convince me. The atheist or agnostic is jaded, has been hurt or disappointed big time. So yeah, you're swimming against the tide.

And it's not your job to totally convert the atheist. Your job is to pry the atheist's door open enough for the Holy Spirit to come convict him. You're not assigned to convert the atheist into a believer. God has not given you that kind of power. Your job is to tag team together with the Holy Spirit.

Tell that atheist that faith is about setting aside your natural tendency to see it before you believe it.

BUT TELL THE ATHEIST THAT GOD IS ENTITLED TO EXPECT THAT YOU'LL BELIEVE HIM EVEN WITHOUT SEEING HIM OR LIVING IN THE FLESH THE REWARDS OF HIS ACTIONS. That's what faith is. If you're not willing to set aside your tendency to "Got to See it Before I believe It," it means you're not taking God nor His Word at Face Value. So you don't get to please him. He, God, insists on your setting aside your natural tendency. That's what's so hard for the atheist to get about faith.

And tell him, very certain that whatever struggle it takes to have enough faith in God is as naturally tough for you as it is for anyone else. And tell him, make sure he or she understands that unbelief is every bit as much as the struggle for you as a Christian as for anyone else. Tell the atheist, that believing in a God you cannot see with your eyes is something of a challenge as your natural tendency as everybody's natural tendency is to trust what you do so and hear with your natural senses. And that you frequently ask for more faith from God because there are times when your faith tends to wane and get discouraged. And tell the atheist that the original measure of faith you got from God sometimes doesn't cut it when you're facing the temptation to disbelieve the Bible.

A Post of Thanksgiving

A Post of Thanksgiving

I'd be an ingrate if I didn't write this post.

Let's see how I can narrate this.

I work as the Public Defender's Mailroom Clerk which is a State of Florida agency and those of us working as state employees are paid on a monthly basis, once per month.  Now, a mailroom clerk does not net all that much and expenses afflict me as they afflict all others.

In a month of 31 days, if you've spent most of your money sometime in the middle of it, you won't see any more until the whole month.

This month I had some extra expenses and so by now, this week, I was quite stretched.

I'm also a Christian. And I have no qualms about asking God for help when I'm in trouble, especially financial trouble.

At the end of this week, when I found myself the most tightly stretched in my pocketbook, I was pulled out of the whole by the Lord.

How?

Let me backwalk you a little bit, to the year 2010. I was between jobs. The job I had been laid off from had provided me healthcare insurance. The job I have now provides healthcare insurance also.

When I was between jobs, I had to pay my own insurance premiums. I used a good portion of my unemployment benefits to pay those premiums.

After I got hired by the employer I have now, I was able to say goodbye to that insurance company policy since I would not need it.  The money I had paid that insurance company during that period piled up in my name.

Guess where the pulled me out the hole came from!

I got a petty cash amount of money, less than $100, to help me with gas and with lunch for this week or so. It was a relief.  The money came from that insurance company since they had done an accounting of unused money and so I got it yesterday.  By the end of this week, that money will already be all used up.

So an insurance policy I had premiums on back in 2010, about eight years ago, came through for me this week when I was really broke and needed relief.  That could not have been a coincidence.  It had to have been God alone who orchestrated all the pieces together to pull me out of the financial pit I was in.

I write to you all because many of you find yourselves in pits and if you put your faith in God to pull you out, He will - if you trust Him.

Trust Him.

More important than the "how" is the "why of the how" of the matter.is

And what is the "why of the how" of the New Corporate Elite Selling Same-Sex Marriage to the American Public?

Money, of course, is the bottom line like everything that happens in big business, big law, big politics.

Let's look at the divorce industry.  As statistics report, more than half of marriages tend to end in divorce and then there's big money being made by divorce bomber lawyers.

Now that's one half of the equation.  What's the other half?

Gays and lesbians with lots of money are the other half. How to best plunder the deep pockets of rich and super-rich gays and lesbians?

Get them to be able to marry and wait for them to get divorced.  If half of the heterosexual marriages end in divorce - why expect gay and lesbian marriages to do better?  Some may but many won't.

First -  Let's look at the prospects of gay male marriages avoiding expensive divorces.

Men, both heterosexual and homosexual as well as bisexual ones, are more interested in sexual pleasure than they are in the relational part of coupleship.

Women, both heterosexual and homosexual as well as bisexual ones, are more interested in the relational aspects than in the sexual or physical ones of coupleship.

So, males being more "what's in it for me" stand a greater chance of divorcing than do women - then the likelihood of male gay same-sex marriages resulting in divorce and remarrying and redivorcing is a factor that makes savor the mouths of divorce bomber lawyers itching to get into the act.

Lesbians, being women and women being more relationally oriented than men, can and will cheat on one another.  And many of their breakups tend to get ugly and every bit as bitter as those of heterosexual couples.

Now, it's a sure bet that it will be more profitable to exploit divorcing same-sex couples than heterosexual ones.

As for the how, read the article itself.

Expect many, many more suicides and crimes of passion to result. And more unhappy people pouring into hell.

Usually, when someone goes against God's will, that's what happens.

The Cause and Effect of The Godfather's - Luca Brasi and why he Died as he did.

Why would I insert this horrific and brutal scene from that gangster movie, the Godfather, into a blog about Christianity, about the Christian life, about someone who is Love itself?

I intended to use it as a moral lesson, as a cautionary discussion.

Yes, God is about Love. He is also about good, he is about justice, he is the truth. And he is sovereign and is entitled to take revenge.

Yes, God is about revenge. He says it belongs to him.

And it applies everwhere. Even in the criminal underworld of the Mafia.

God took revenge upon Luca Brasi by allowing horribly sinful men, men such as the narcotics trafficker Virgil Sollozzo, to personally murder Luca Brasi by having one of his henchmen use a nylon cord to strangulate, to garrote him. It was a horrifyingly painful, slow, gruesome death that Sollozzo's henchman inflicted on Luca Brasi.

Why did God allow him, that gangster's henchman to do that cruel, inhuman violence to Luca Brasi?

Let's turn to the novel itself for those answers.

Let's begin with a description of the victim of the video scene, Luca Brasi, and see what kind of a man he was.

"Luca Brasi was indeed a man to frighten the devil in hell himself. Short, squat, massive-skulled, his presence sent out alarm bells of danger. His face was stamped into a mask of fury. The eyes were brown but with none of the warmth of that color, more a deadly tan. The mouth was not so much cruel as lifeless; thin, rubbery and the color of veal." 1

"Brasi’s reputation for violence was awesome and his devotion to Don Corleone legendary. He was, in himself, one of the great blocks that supported the Don’s power structure. His kind was a rarity." 2

2
Ibid

"Luca Brasi did not fear the police, he did not fear society, he did not fear God, he did not fear hell, he did not fear or love his fellow man. But he had elected, he had chosen, to fear and love Don Corleone." 3

3
Ibid

How horrible were the deeds of Luca Brasi before he arrived at this point, the point of dying at the mercy of someone just as cruel, as amoral as himself?

In Book 3 of the novel, there is the backstory of how Vito Corleone rose to become the head of this Mafioso Corleone Crime Family. Moreover, it also narrates how this fellow, the one being killed in the video posted, Luca Brasi, played a role in Vito Corleone's rise:

"Vito Corleone dispatched Luca Brasi to take care of them with instructions that would liberate the strange man’s most savage instincts." 4

4
Ibid

"Brasi and his people, four of them, received the Chicago hoods at the railroad station. One of Brasi’s men procured and drove a taxicab for the purpose and the station porter carrying the bags led the Capone men to this cab. When they got in, Brasi and another of his men crowded in after them, guns ready, and made the two Chicago boys lie on the floor. The cab drove to a warehouse near the docks that Brasi had prepared for them." 5

5 Ibid

"The two Capone men were bound hand and foot and small bath towels were stuffed into their mouths to keep them from crying out. Then Brasi took an ax from its place against the wall and started hacking at one of the Capone men." 6

6
Ibid

"He chopped the man’s feet off, then the legs at the knees, then the thighs where they joined the torso. Brasi was an extremely powerfull man but it took him many swings to accomplish his purpose. By that time of course the victim had given up the ghost and the floor of the warehouse was slippery with the hacked fragments of his flesh and the gouting of his blood. When Brasi turned to his second victim he found further effort unnecessary." 7

7 Ibid

"The second Capone gunman out of sheer terror had, impossibly, swallowed the bath towel in his mouth and suffocated. The bath towel was found in the man’s stomach when the police performed their autopsy to determine the cause of death." 8

8
Ibid

As horrific as these crimes were, they pale in comparison to the one that must really have angered or even enraged God the most at Luca Brasi. He murdered a just-born baby. And he did it in the most evil, pathetic, inhuman way possible:

"To make a long story short, Brasi left the room. Two of his men assisted the midwife and the baby was born, the mother was exhausted and went into a deep sleep. Brasi was summoned and Filomena, who had wrapped the newborn child in an extra blanket, extended the bundle to him and said, “If you’re the father, take her. My work is finished.” Brasi glared at her, malevolent, insanity stamped on his face. “Yes, I’m the father,” he said. “But I don’t want any of that race to live. Take it down to the basement and throw it into the furnace.” 9

9
Ibid

" One of the men must have opened the furnace door, the fire now was visible. And then she was alone with Brasi in that basement with its sweating pipes, its mousy odor. Brasi had his knife out again. And there could be no doubting that he would kill her. There were the flames, there were Brasi’s eyes. His face was the gargoyle of the devil, it was not human, it was not sane: He pushed her toward the open furnace door. At this point Filomena fell silent. She folded her bony hands in her lap and looked directly at Michael. He knew what she wanted, how she wanted to tell him, without using her voice. He asked gently, “Did you do it?” She nodded." 10

10
Ibid

" It was only after another glass of wine and crossing herself and muttering a prayer that she continued her story. She was given a bundle of money and driven home. She understood that if she uttered a word about what had happened she would be killed. But two days later Brasi murdered the young Irish girl, the mother of the infant, and was arrested by the police." 11

11
Ibid

I believe that God gave this fictional character, had he been a real person, some time to think and reflect, and finally repent for his evils. God is entitled to take revenge and if He has to, he will. But God is not a vindictive person. He prefers to forgive. Nevertheless, if we refuse to take advantage of his olive branch, humble ourselves, and repent, he may decide that he's given us all he time we needed and still we did not repent. And in the end, he will sadly, perhaps even reluctantly give consent to Satan to have his way with us as he did with Luca Brasi.

It was not only that God allowed Satan to use of his servants to mete out painful, inhuman death to another of his own servants, Luca Brasi -- what is tragic here is that after Luca was horribly killed, he ended up in Hades and later would wind up in the worst and most unthinkable places for a human soul to end up: the Lake of Fire and for all eternity.

What would a sinner like Luca Brasi say and do in the presence of the Great White Throne with the Lord Jesus seated there?

We're talking here about the same Jesus who took away our sins, whose body bore all the stripes, tortures, spits, blows, and spikes driven into it - as payment in full - for all the sins, offenses, insults, blasphemies, transgressions, and iniquities that made us deserve all those horrible things that Jesus took but did nothing to deserve.

And we're now to see someone like Luca Brasi who ordered a newborn baby to be cast to be roasted alive in a furnace. A living soul, an innocent human being who didn't even ask to come into the world - and to be thrown into a raging fire simply because the father didn't want any of that race to live. His whim against a whole human life, the life of a baby.

I'd say that the garroting he took at the hand of that gangster's henchman was too little punishment for the brutal, diabolical snuffing out of a new born baby simply because he didn't want any of that race to live.

Yes, Revenge does belong to God and He will Repay if He feels He needs to, if it's warranted.

And no, the killers who in the end murdered Luca Brasi were not doing it for justice's sake over that baby. Remember, that this fellow, Virgil Sollozzo, was a narcotics man, a heroin trafficker. He made money before World War II as a pimp.

He ran a prostitution racket. Afterward, he went into narcotics production because he would make more money growing poppy fields and then having the poppies turned into heroin in a chemical lab for then to sell to people. He enslaved souls.

He strung them up like puppets. When others got in his way, he'd have them murdered as he had Luca Brasi murdered and then had Don Corleone physically shot with five bullets.

No, Luca Brasi, was not killed by an angel. He was not stoned outside the city gates. No. He was killed by people of his own amoral underworld community. Other devils as bad as himself did him in. But God allowed it.

He, God, in the Bible, allowed bad people to do terrible things to other sinners as punishment. And these other horrible people didn't even know they were doing God's will.

Vengeance Belongs to God and He will Repay. If you have evils on you for past things you have done, Get right with God! Repent while there is still time for you.

Faith: How to Stop Walking by Sight

For those of you who must see something to believe that it exists, let me ask you a question.

It dawned on me this afternoon that not being able to see God is no excuse to not believe that He's there with you.

Most of us can be aware of someone's presence if we see that person with our physical yes or hear with our physical ears to believe, to sense, that person's presence.

Most of us have difficult believing in the reality of God's existence and presence because we've never seen Him physically no heard Him physically.

He's there and He exists.

Having trouble believing this? I've had this problem myself so I don't feel any anger nor feel hurt that you're challenged in believing what I've written here.

I'm going to have to go deeper.

Let's take the example with someone who was born blind. This person sees absolutely nothing and never has.

So, if this person has never seen anyone, and someone's in the same room, and let's say that this person who's in the room with this blind person cannot be heard either. And let's say that the blind person can neither see nor hear this other person in the same room. Let's say that the blind person who was born blind - was born deaf mute as well.

Imagine that this person who can neither hear nor see CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU EXIST.

You're in the same room and this person who neither sees nor hears cannot believe in your existence because you cannot be sensed.

And let's say that you're not allowed to touch him or her, the blind and deaf mute man or woman.

It must be frustrating for someone you care about, someone whom you love - not be able to see nor hear you so that person cannot acknowledge your existence. And you certainly exist.

Don't you think that God is frustrated to see and hear and know that you cannot believe in His existence simply because you're too spiritually blind, and too deaf-mute to take His existence at face value?

It's happened to me so it would be unjust on my part and hypocritical of me to resent your resistance to set aside your skepticism. I was where you are now.

But let's look at the flipside: the reward of doing that.

It's rewarding to not apply your senses to where they apply not.

Human eyesight and hearing don't apply to the things of the spirit.

I'm not a great Christian. I'm no even a good one. And as a believer, I'm just a fair or average one.

But I am a believer, and even though I'm not even a good christian, I'm christian enough to know that Jesus saved me.

Being a believer whether good or fair and being a substandard christian: they're enough to know that when I'm done living, I'm headed home to be with the Lord, forever.

How about you?

Cuba: Christian Man is Arrested, Told 'Our God is Fidel Castro' - Christian News Headlines

Cuba: Christian Man is Arrested, Told 'Our God is Fidel Castro' - Christian News Headlines

“Political police” allegedly beat a Cuban Christian man after his arrest last year for “pre-criminal social dangerousness,” according to a watchdog group’s report.

Watchdog group NGO Christian Solidarity Worldwide says that Misael Diaz Paseiro was arrested on Oct. 22. State security agents confiscated two bibles, crucifixes and five rosaries from his house.

"Misael, in addition to being a counter-revolutionary, you are also a Christian," CSW quoted a police official as telling Paseiro. "You should look at us, we are revolutionaries and we don't believe in your God. Our god is Fidel Castro."
